Floyd E. Jaekel

Floyd E. Jaekel, age 82, of Waconia, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Waconia Good Samarian Center. Funeral Service held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waconia with Rev. Robert Alsleben officiating; visitation one hour prior to the service at the church; interment church cemetery.
Floyd was born on Feb. 20, 1930 in Waconia Township, Minn., the son of Edward and Bertha (Broeckert) Jaekel. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waconia.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Bertha Jaekel and a sister Marcella Jaekel.
Floyd loved his church and belonged to the Seniors For Christ and was a choir member for many years. He just loved to ride around in the truck going to many sales barns.
Floyd is survived by many family and dear friends.
Casket Bearers are Ken Wagener, Kelly Wagener, Kevin Wagener, Tyler Wagener, Todd Karels, Dale Dahmen, Dominick Dahmen, Mike Pierson.
